A Panorama camera mode was also found within the iPhone 4S's camera. Several Android smartphones feature a similar feature.

"So, I found out how to enable Panorama in the iOS Camera app. Set the key 'EnableFirebreak' to YES in com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist,” wrote computer programmer Conrad Kramer.

"In general the iOS 5 software has some features that look a lot like Android's software,” said The Atlantic Wire on the iOS 5 notification dashboard.

"For those still rocking an older Apple phone, upgrading to the new OS will provide Anroid-esque notifications dashboard. Instead of seeing individual pop-up notifications, the iPhone has put them all in one place, just like the Android,” The Atlantic Wire added.

Technology website 9to5Mac posted the steps to finding these features for owners of the iPhone 4S.

Steve Jobs explained his opinion of Android in his recent Walter Isaacson biography: "I will spend my last dying breath if I need to, and I will spend every penny of Apple's $40 billion in the bank, to right this wrong."

"I'm going to destroy Android, because it's a stolen product. I'm willing to go thermonuclear war on this,” Jobs added.

Google recently stated the company did not copy Apple's software and that the Android OS predated the iPhone: "The Android effort started before the iPhone effort," said Google founder Eric Schmidt.
