Apple’s “Let’s Talk iPhone” media event is just one day away and along with a new iPhone scheduled to be unveiled, the company is also expected to give a first look at the next generation of iPods.

With the end of the iPod classic era, a device which contributed to the enormous success of Apple in recent years, the company must provide the public with something fresh and iCloud ready when it comes to storing and viewing their media.

The first iPod rumored to be unveiled at the event is a white Touch model. This white iPod Touch was first confirmed by tech site 9to5Mac with photos of the actual OEM front plate.

According to the site, the device’s launch has been confirmed internally by Apple via its inventory system.

Along with that, MacRumors also reported on a minor iPod nano revision which may be in the works. The new version of the lower spec Apple media device may include a camera and an ability to connect to Bluetooth.

These would be interesting additions to the iPod nano, but none of this information has been officially confirmed.

The news on the iPod Classic and Shuffle being discontinued is not completely reliable since 9to5Mac has heard from its manufacturing sources that Apple’s supply centers are still scheduled to ship iPod classics after the media event takes place.

One more possible bit of information that may be revealed during the event is a price cut on the 8GB iPod Touch which could be made by Apple to compete with the upcoming $199 Amazon Kindle Fire.

Tomorrow is the day when all these leaks and rumors will either be confirmed or refuted.

The “Let’s Talk About iPhone” media event is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning at Apple's Cupertino, California campus.
