iPhone 5S Specs: Device to Launch in Graphite and Several Other Metallic Colors

The iPhone 5S specs are expected to be quite a leap from the previous model and now Apple also seems to be improving color schemes on the device's outer shell.

A new photo has emerged showing off the new smartphone in a grayish graphite color. The picture was posted by Sonny Dickson who also displayed some other parts for the device along with other colors. This graphite model could be the fourth confirmed color for the new iPhone that is also expected to launch in slate, white and champagne.

High quality photos of the champagne colored iPhone 5S surfaced on the internet last week.

They were posted by Japanese website ASCII.JP. The site compares the new gold-like casing on the new version of the device to the older white and black iPhone 5 models.

The color found on the new iPhone 5S in the photo features more of a champagne-like color than some of the other leaked pictures showing off a gold model. It is possible that Apple will release both of these colors.

Other sites such as TechCrunch, AllThingsD and 9to5 Mac have all claimed to have been made aware of this new champagne iPhone that will be launching next month.

This model was also confirmed by TechCrunch's MG Siegler last week in a new research note.

"Yes there will be a gold iPhone," he said. "That's the latest I'm hearing from multiple sources after several weeks of rumors and possible component leaks suggesting the same thing. At first, I couldn't believe Apple would break from the tradition of offering the simple choice: black and white (or 'slate' and 'silver' if you prefer for the iPhone 5) for their flagship device."

The next-gen and low-cost iPhone models are expected to be unveiled on Sept. 10.
