iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S Will Be Able to Record in Slow Motion
Both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S will have the ability to record video in slow motion.
Code found inside of iOS 7 points to the next generation of iPhones having a new "Mogul" camera mode that offers video recording at a rate of 120 frames per-second, according to a report from 9to5Mac.
"According to our analysis and testing of the code, "Mogul" is a feature in development that allows the iPhone to capture video at an exceptionally fast and precise rate," wrote the site. Specifically, our testing indicates that the feature can allow the iPhone to record video at a rate of 120 frames-per-second."

This would allow users of the new iOS to be able to capture slow motion video. In order to create these kinds of videos, cameras must first capture frames at a fast rate, which will appear to be slow when played at their normal speed.
The Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Camera currently feature a slow motion mode.
9to5Mac attempted to test the "Mogul" mode found on the new software on the iPhone 5, but it failed to operate due to unsupported hardware. This points to it only being compatible with a future device or devices that could be the new iPhone 5S/6 or low-cost version set to launch later this year.
Apple frequently updates the camera when it comes to "S" models as the company equipped the 4S with an 8-megapixel rear shooter after releasing the 4 with a 5-megapixel camera 1 year prior.
Apple is expected to improve that camera on this year's iPhone by giving it a 12-megapixel rear shooter along with improved night shooting capabilities. This "Mogul" should also show up on the handset.
