iPhone 6 Plus vs Galaxy Note 4 Comparison: Specs Review and Price Details

With the iPhone 6 Plus now available in the market and the Galaxy Note 4 about to be released sometime next month, those who are on the lookout for the latest and greatest from Apple and Samsung knows that it's going to be an epic battle between these two supersized phones when it comes to features and price.

Here is a side by side comparison of the iPhone 6 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4:

Design:
The iPhone 6 Plus has an aluminum body, has a width of 0.28 inches, and weighs 6.07 oz, while the Galaxy Note 4 has a polycarbonate body in a metal frame. It's slightly thicker than the 6 Plus at 0.33 inches, and weights a bit more at 6.21 oz.

Screen:
The Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5 inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.

Features:
The Note 4 will run on the Android 4.4 Kitkat. It has lots of extra features, such as MultiWindow which enables the user to run two apps simultaneously side by side, the SHealth fitness and health apps, a fingerprint sensor, a heart rate monitor, and the S-Pen stylus. The phone comes with 32 GB of internal storage and can be expanded with a microSD card up to 128 GB.

The iPhone 6 Plus runs on the iOS 8, which, with regards to design, doesn't differ very much from the iOS 7. It also has a fingerprint scanner. It is available in different variants—16GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB. It does not have a microSD slot.

Price:
The iPhone 6 Plus is available from $299 to $499 on contract, while the Galaxy Note 4 is available from $299 to $350 on contract. The Galaxy Note 4 will be released on Oct. 17.
