iPhone 6S: Upcoming Apple Smartphone to Get Bezel-Less Display?
For the past years, we have heard all sorts of iPhone rumors pointing to bezel-less screens. However, until now there are still no bezel-less displays coming from Apple. However, that could change if this new rumor pans out to be true.
According to a report by Phone Arena, sources say that the upcoming iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus will get a display like no other.
The Cupertino manufacturer will reportedly change its ways in placing touch cells in screens. Currently, the company uses in-cell display technology for its current iPhones.
The report claims that Apple could switch to on-cell or glass-on-glass display technology, which are both even more advanced kinds of tech that aims to place touch sensors into screens.
This rumor could also support previous reports that Apple would begin using Force Touch technology to its iPhones after using it in the newest MacBook.
Supply chain TPK also pointed out that Apple could be making the switch this year or next year.
However, the ever-improving technology in the mobile industry will definitely push Apple to lay out all its cards on the table if it wants to become relevant when it comes to innovation by the end of the year.
