iPhone 7 News, Specs Rumors: Next Iteration Tipped to be Apple's Most Radically-Designed Phone

After the clamor generated for Apple's latest generation of smartphones, the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus, the public is now turning its attention towards the purported release of the company's next flagship, the iPhone 7.

Over the course of weeks, there have been a handful of rumors related to the iPhone 7. The latest of the speculations indicate that the device could come out "completely redesigned," according to a report from Valuewalk.com.

The article particularly cited Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster, who claimed that the device will be "based around entirely new design parameters" with the focus put on eliminating the presence of the Home button. Fuelling this theory is the Cupertino-based tech giant's latest integration of the 3D Touch technology to its phones. Munster added that with the huge space left, Apple can now easily increase the screen size of the next iPhone.

Needless to say, with the bigger display comes the increasing need of power. The analyst said that it could be possible that Apple would also be putting emphasis on improving the battery life for iPhone 7. The product line has long been criticized in the power department.

Munster is somewhat hopeful that the Apple Watch maker could address this problem as it was able to double up the battery life of the current MacBook laptop range. They were able to do so by integrating a more efficient range of processors and software. It would be very likely that Apple will implement such strategies for the iPhone 7.

Furthermore, the next Apple iPhone flagship could hit the store shelves with a sapphire display. This has been one of the innovative features that have been greatly anticipated for at least 18 months already, long before the 2014 iPhone 6 came out.

Munster also stipulated that the new phone could arrive with waterproof and super slim features as well as highly-upgraded cameras that could give DSLR quality images.

As for the release date, ValueWalk said that the iPhone 7 might come out in September 2016. Stay tuned for more updates.
