Apple has recently rolled out their latest flagship smartphones, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus.

While these smartphones are considered to be of premium price, iOS fans are scrambling to get their hands on the newest iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus. While most people are choosing one over the other for the price, there are those who choose for their specs. Here is a comparison to help you decide which iPhone is better for you.

iPhone 7 vs iPhone 7 Plus Specs, Features
For its size and weight, the iPhone 7 definitely has a smaller size at 5.44 x 2.64 x 0.28 inches, weighing 138g. The iPhone 7 Plus is bigger at 6.23 x 3.07 x 0.29 inches and heavier at 188g. According to Apple's official website, both phones are water and dust resistant.

Both also house the A10 Fusion chip, but the iPhone 7 only has 2GB RAM while the iPhone 7 Plus has 3GB RAM. They also both ship out of the box with the iOS 10 as their default operating systems.

The two models have 3 storage capacities which are 32GB, 128GB and 256GB. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus come in five colors: Rose Gold, Silver, Gold, Jet Black and Matte Black. Apple noted that the Jet Black color option is only available for the 128GB and 256GB models.

For the power and battery, the iPhone 7 reportedly lasts 2 hours longer than the iPhone 6s, which is about 12 hours on Wi-Fi, LTE and 3G. And if left on standby, it can last up to 10 days without charging. The iPhone 7 Plus lasts an hour longer than the iPhone 6s Plus and this means that it can last up to 13 hours on 3G, LTE and Wi-Fi. If left on standby, it can last up to 16 days.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus also have six sensors including the Touch ID, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and more. When it comes to the camera, the iPhone 7 has a 12MP camera with a digital zoom of up to 5x. The iPhone 7 Plus has a 12MP wide-angle and telephoto cameras with optical zoom up to 2x and digital zoom up to 10x. However, both can record 4K, 1080p HD and 720p HD videos at 30 fps.

The price of the iPhone 7 starts at $650 for the 32GB version. The iPhone 7 Plus starts at $770 for the same storage option, Digital Trends reports. The price also depends on whether the smartphones will be bought in a subscription plan as each telecommunication company has their own pricing.

iPhone 7 vs iPhone 7 Plus - Which is Better?
The biggest difference with Apple's iPhone 7 line with the others before them is the lack of headphone jack, while the major difference between the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus is that the latter has a dual camera system and has a bigger RAM to help it with.

Another difference is a few hundred dollars more for the iPhone 7 Plus as it is marketed with a better camera than the iPhone 7.
