Drudge Report News: ISIS Threatens Chicago? Oklahoma Senator Warns of Terrorist Attack
Featured news indicates a new threat from the Islamic extremist group from the Middle East known as the ISIS or Islamic State of Iraq and Syria to a U.S. city.
A couple of images were posted on Twitter by a suspected ISIS member or supporter, according to CBS Chicago.
"#AmessagefromISIStoUS
We are in your state
We are in your cities
We are in your streets
You are our goals anywhere."
The pictures, as shown, appear to be the Old Republic Building, 307 N. Michigan Ave., in Chicago and the White House, in Washington, D.C.
The publication further indicates that the handwritten note is dated June 20 this year.
Reports from WGNTV.com said that there are other tweets that bear the same two pictures with varying captions.
"we are in your state/ we are in your cities / we are in your streets. You are our goals anywhere," one post read.
"we are here #america near our #target :) sooooooooooooon," another said.
No one from the building's security personnel, the Secret Service, the FBI, or the Chicago police gave comments on the said threats, according to reports.
Meanwhile, The Epoch Times reported that soon as the CBS news came out, Sen. James Inhofe from Oklahoma issued a warning of an impending terrorist attack on the US soil.
The senator was quoted in a statement during an interview with Fox 25's Phil Cross.
"We're in the most dangerous position we've ever been in as a nation," he said.
The Republican from Oklahoma also emphasized how "bad" the ISIS is as a terrorist group after reflecting the beheading of an American journalist James Foley.
"ISIS, they are really bad terrorists, they're so bad even Al Qaida is afraid of them. They're crazy out there and they're rapidly developing a method of blowing up a major U.S. city and people just can't believe that's happening," he continued.
The interview went on with him blaming the current Obama administration on the current "dangerous situation."
"He's [President Obama] going to have to come up with something that we're going to do because they're holding another hostage in place and the problem is, the President says all these things and he never does them," Inhofe said.
