ISIS News: Terrorists Claim Responsibility for Russian Airliner's Fall
New details have emerged about the Russian jet crash that killed all of the people on board last week and it seems that the ISIS are responsible for taking down the passenger jet.
Several outlets report that the terrorists released a video claiming they were behind the killing of over 220 people, mostly Russians, on board a Russian passenger jet last week. The new video, via Express, features what looks like the airliner in its final moments before the takedown.
According to The Daily Beast, U.S. intelligence officials have been intercepting with a hint from an ISIS-affiliated group called the Wilayat Sinai, who are positioned in the Sinai peninsula.

Two officials reportedly told the outlet that the message intercepted "warned of something big in the area" days before the Russian airliner was taken down. The Wilayat Sinai are known among the authorities as a "potent" wing of the Islamic State. While the interception between the Wilayat Sinai and the U.S. forces did not mention a possible takedown of an airliner, one defense official said some comments made by the ISIS wing could actually be linked to the incident.
The Daily Mail says Thomas Joscelyn, a U.S. security analyst familiar with the interception, said a possible reason why the group refuses to give the details of how the plane was taken down is because "they are trying to protect a mole at the airport."
While U.S. President Barack Obama said in a radio interview that there is a possibility of a bomb being planted on the jet before takeoff, according to Reuters, the insights about how the plane was brought down are only speculations as of now.
Egyptian foreign secretary Philip Hammond also said it was a "significant possibility" that Islamic State forces were behind the Russian jet's fall due to the information given to date and the claims the jihadists made related to the incident.
However, comments made by the interceptors are what made the U.S. and British officials believe that a bomb was most likely used to take down the airliner.
