Italy vs Uruguay Live Stream Free: Watch Online World Cup 2014 Football (ESPN TV Start Time)

Italy and Uruguay will fight it out on Tuesday to see who will join Costa Rica in the Last 16 from Group D. Both teams suffered shock defeats against Costa Rica, but both managed to grind out tough wins against England. Now it comes down to a play off between the two to see who will continue on in World Cup 2014 and who will go home. This massive game will kick off at 12 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through free live stream (details below).

Coming into this match up Italy have the slight edge over Uruguay, having a better goal difference. That means if today's game ends in a draw then Italy will progress as runners-up to Costa Rica in Group D.

These two teams played out a draw in the Confederations Cup last year in their third place play off. That game went to penalties, with Italy taking the third place spot in the end.

Uruguay come into today's game knowing nothing less than a win will be enough for them. Oscar Tabarez has said, "I have a group who are used to resisting pressure and who react to it in a good way. They've (Italy) been world champions four times and we have a lot of respect for them. It will be a tough challenge for us but I believe we'll have our chances."

Even though Uruguay have the pressure of needing a win, Italy have been feeling the weight of expectation from back home. After crashing out in the group stages four years ago, their home fans are expecting them to progress this time and go far, and it would be as much if not more of a disaster were they to fail to get into the Last 16 again.

Italy and Uruguay will play off with a kick off at 12 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through free live stream by clicking here.
