Jamie-Lynn Sigler and her fiancé Cutter Dykstra welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
The "Sopranos" star and the Major League Baseball player announced their pregnancy shortly after their engagement on Jan. 28.
On Wednesday, Sigler delivered a 8-pound, 4-ounce baby boy named Beau Kyle Dykstra, according to People.com.
"Thank you for all the love," the 32-year-old actress posted to Twitter one day after her son's arrival. "Cutter and I feel so blessed and appreciative of everyone's well wishes. So madly in love with our BOY!"
"Both mommy and baby are great," Sigler's rep added, according to Us Weekly.
Sigler and her 24-year-old fiancé have dated since 2010, and theirs will be actress' second marriage. Sigler married her agent A.J. DiScala in 2003, but the pair split two years later.
The actress has also been romantically linked to actor Jerry Ferrara and NFL star Mark Sanchez. She and Dykstra, a Washington Nationals player, began dating in 2010.
Alternately, Dykstra was 2008's 2nd round pick by the Brewers. He is the son of disgraced ex-MLB All-Star Lenny Dykstra, who pleaded guilty to bankruptcy fraud and money laundering last year, according to CBS Sports.
Furthermore, Dykstra's great uncles Pete, Jack and Tony Leswick played in the National Hockey League.
In January, Sigler shared her engagement with her Twitter followers in a photo of herself wearing a diamond ring with Dykstra and the caption, "So this just happened…"
Directly after the post, Dykstra tweeted: "She said yes!!"
"Thank you so much for all the love everyone," Sigler later told her Twitter followers. "I am so happy and more importantly lucky!"
Meanwhile, Sigler is well known for her role on HBO's "The Sopranos" for which she earned two Screen Actors Guild Awards, as well as her role on "Entourage." The actress has also appeared on ABC's "Ugly Betty" and "How I Met Your Mother," and her current role on "Guys with Kids."
