Japan vs Greece Live Stream Free, ESPN TV Start Time: Watch World Cup 2014 Football Online

Japan will play Greece on Thursday in a crunch game for both teams, with each coming into this second round of games at World Cup 2014 with zero points. Japan lost a tight game to Ivory Coast in their first match, where as Greece were taken apart by Colombia in their opening encounter at this year's World Cup. That means today's game is a must-win for both. The match will kick off at 6 p.m. EST and can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through free live stream (details below).

These two teams have only ever met once before a the 2005 Confederations Cup when Japan secured a 1-0 win.

Japan have only managed to win two of their seven World Cup games against European opposition in the past, but they will have confidence they can take the three points from Colombia today and improve on that record.

One player Japan will be looking to for inspiration today is Honda, and if he scores against Greece he will become the first Asian player to score four World Cup goals.

However, Greece will not be an easy game. They have as much at stake today as Japan, and they have not lost back to back games since June 2010. However, they have also never kept a clean sheet in a World Cup game, conceding 2.6 goals per game in their World Cup history, which is the worst defense out of all nations at this year's tournament.

The World Cup often proves hard for Greece; they have lost six of their seven games at World Cups in their history, and have failed to score in all six defeats. They must score today and repel a strong Colombia attack to give them any hope of getting the result they need.

Colombia vs Japan will kick off at 6 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through free live stream by clicking here.
