Jay-Z and Beyonce's Baby Blue Ivory: Twitter Users Question Baby's Name

Music industry superstars, Jay-Z and Beyonce, gave birth to one of the most publicly anticipated babies in the celebrity realm, and now with this child's birth questions are brought up about the spiritual realm as well.

The stars' baby, Blue Ivy Carter, became a trending topic on Twitter as fans and tweeters from all over the world were commenting on the strangeness of the name and then its origin.

The baby's name came from Jay's love of the color blue and the success he has had with his Blueprint albums. Ivy comes from the number four (IV). The number four is Beyonce’s special number that reoccurs in her life.

They provided their own symbolism and methods for the name. Blue has four letters as well.

This symbolism in the name brought out comparisons to claims that the couple was in the Illuminati or Free Mason Society.
Allegations from all over the web, mostly Twitter, proclaimed the child as Lucifer's daughter.

"Jay-Z & Beyonce named their daughter Ivy Blue, Ivy Blue = Eulb Yvi, which was the name of lucifer's daughter in latin!" Twitter user MrZou posted Sunday.

A search of these terms in Latin does not match up to what is being claimed. The Lantern reported, "The English "Lucifer" comes from a combination of two Latin base words, "lucem ferre," which roughly translates to "bringer of light." "Daughter," in Latin, is "filia."

Also, "elub," is not a Latin word.

"Ivy (position in alphabet) - I=9 V=22 Y=25 - 2+2+2+5=11 - 11x9=99 - flip 99 round and add another 6 and you get 666 :O #Illuminati," Tweeted @Merkzbeatbox.

Twitter user Jothebarbarian speculated Beyonce's birth had Satanic implications. "Is it me or was bey only pregnant for like 3 mo's before givin birth? #illuminati ?"

Blue Ivy also had a number of acronyms attached to her name.

Blue allegedly stands for "Born Living Under Evil" and Ivy "Illuminati's Very Youngest."

Jay-Z has fought rumors of his involvement in Illuminati for years, and in an interview with Delta Sky Magazine Jay-Z said, "It may sound a little arrogant, but I just think people can't handle when somebody else is successful. Something has gotta be wrong; you gotta be down with some higher power. And I guess when someone else is successful; it makes you feel like maybe you're a failure. So it can't be you, it has to be some other force."
