"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans is reportedly having another son, according to a source close to the family and a photo posted to Evans' Twitter account. The mother is expecting her second child with boyfriend Nathan Griffith this summer and promised to reveal the sex of her new baby.
"It's a boy," a source close to Griffith told In Touch Weekly. "Jenelle and Nathan already have the name picked out. It's Kaiser Griffith. She already had the names picked out. If it was a girl it would have been Lydia Marie. No middle name yet for Kaiser."
Evans has faced a great deal of criticism for choosing to have a second child when she does not have custody of her first son, 4-year-old Jace. But Evans explained that she felt ready to care for this child and has the support of Griffith to help this time around, whereas Jace's father was not a presence in his life. She also claims to be clean and sober for this pregnancy and stable enough to bring him into the world.
"I panicked – I'd just gotten off heroin," Evans told the magazine about her decision to have an abortion several months ago. "I was very skinny and unhealthy. I wasn't stable. But I hope people will see where I was then and where I am now and why I decided it's OK to keep this baby."
It's been an uphill battle for Evans; she is still legally married to Courtland Rogers, with whom she got pregnant but then had an abortion. As soon as the law allows, Evans or Rogers will file for divorce and Evans will likely marry Griffith. The couple is working to build a family that will be stable enough for Jace to come home to, even though they were both arrested for a domestic disturbance just months ago.
Evans told In Touch that her mother, who has custody of Jace, told her that if she was clean for one more year, she would give custody back to Evans. The three just posted a photo to Twitter confirming that she is having a baby boy.
