Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have reportedly asked their wedding guests to make charity donations in lieu of wedding gifts.
The couple, whose wedding date is rumored to be fast approaching, is believed to have invited 50 guests to what will allegedly be an intimate ceremony followed by a small reception. Aniston's ex-husband Brad Pitt has not been invited.
"Jen and Justin's wedding will be an intimate affair with close friends and family, and Jennifer's ex-husband Brad Pitt is definitely not on the guest list," a source told Britain's Grazia magazine.
"They have also requested that instead of gifts, guests donate money to a children's hospice," the source explained.
The pair announced their engagement in 2012, after wo years of dating, and they are expected to wed shortly after Aniston, 44, wraps up filming her untitled Elmore Leonard project on March 8. They reportedly designed their own wedding bands and wrote their own vows.
"The couple have also designed their own wedding rings with inscriptions inside. And they have written their own vows. It's going to be very romantic," the source said.
Aniston has picked out a dress and the actress reportedly asked Emily Blunt and late night talk show host Chelsea Lately to be her bridesmaids. Her best friend Courtney Cox has been invited, but she is reportedly not a part of the bridal party.
"Jen wants to include some of her new pals and, though she will attend the wedding, she thinks that Courteney may have too much on her plate," a source reportedly told Heat magazine.
"Jen thinks that Chelsea is brilliant. She's the only friend who publicly defended her over Angelina Jolie getting together with her ex Brad Pitt in 2005, so there's fierce loyalty there," the source continued. "Now Jen is with Justin, things with Courteney are different."
The couple is yet to finalize their honeymoon plans although a source claims Hawaii and Mexico are likely destinations.
"Justin has a house in Hawaii, so the island is very special to him, and Mexico is Jen's favorite place in the world," the source said. "Paris is also special to them after they spent a very romantic and meaningful holiday there last year."
