Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have reportedly selected a wedding date. The engaged couple is expected to walk down the aisle shortly after the actress wraps up filming her untitled Elmore Leonard project on March 8.
The pair, who announced their engagement in 2012, has designed their own wedding bands and Aniston, 44, is narrowing down dresses. They are said to be anxiously counting down the days before their big day.
"It will be a small affair with their closest friends. Jen seems more confident than ever and they've become a great team," a source told People magazine. "[Jennifer] is crazy about Justin and can't wait to be his wife!"
Aniston is said to have invited approximately 50 guests to her and Theroux's upcoming nuptials, which is less than half of the 200 guests that attended her 2000 wedding to actor Brad Pitt. The actress will reportedly take Theroux's last name.
"She plans on privately changing her name to Theroux. She like the way it sounds and jokes that [Jennifer Theroux] sounds very posh," the source said.
"They really seem to have perfect chemistry, like they complete each other. There's a perfect balance," the insider continued. "He was doting when she turned to him [at the Oscars], but the overall vibe was simply fun and effortless."
The news follows reports that Aniston has asked asked actress Emily Blunt and late night talkshow host Chelsea Lately to be her bridesmaids. Her best friend Courtney Cox has been invited, but she is reportedly not a part of the bridal party.
"Jen wants to include some of her new pals and, though she will attend the wedding, she thinks that Courteney may have too much on her plate," a source reportedly told Heat magazine.
"Jen thinks that Chelsea is brilliant. She's the only friend who publicly defended her over Angelina Jolie getting together with her ex Brad Pitt in 2005, so there's fierce loyalty there," the source continued. "Now Jen is with Justin, things with Courteney are different."
