Jennifer Garner's Haircut Praised As Ben Affleck's 'Batman' Role Makes Waves

Jennifer Garner took a page out of Michelle Obama's playbook and cut bangs this week, earning widespread praise for her new look.

The 41-year-old actress debuted the new trim and fringe in Los Angeles on Wednesday, according to the Daily Mail.

Shortly thereafter, Garner's fans took to social media with reactions to the new bangs.

"Jennifer Garner cut bangs," wrote Tiffany. "Love!"

The Internet's many reactions was similar to those after the First Lady cut bangs earlier this year, causing even President Obama to comment on the hairstyle.

Garner and Obama are not the only high-profile women to experiment with bangs recently; Kate Middleton, Kim Kardashian, and Jennifer Love Hewitt also debuted a fringe haircut this year, among many others.

Despite her hit new hairstyle, Garner had admitted to having bad hair days.

"[My hairstylist] taught me that letting my hair dry naturally- which is what I do every single day-is good for it… but it's not always going to look good," said the actress speaking to Redbook magazine.

"Pulling out the blow-dryer and the curling iron really does make a difference. But to be perfectly honest, I don't even know where the hair dryer is in my house," Garner continued.

Furthermore, the mother-of-three revealed secrets about her beauty routine in Redbook magazine.

"Most days I don't get around to makeup," the busy mom told the magazine. "If I do, it's pretty simple: concealer, blush, mascara and some lip color."

"If I'm really going for it, I might fill in my brows," Garner added. "Generally speaking, brows are underserved."

Meanwhile, Garner's husband Ben Affleck is making headlines of a very different kind this week. The 41-year-old actor just landed the coveted role as Batman in the upcoming sequel to "Man of Steel."

Reactions from Batman fans have ranged from praise to downright anger over director Zack Snyder's choice in Affleck.

The new incarnation of the "Dark Knight" film will bring Batman and Superman together- with "Man of Steel" star Henry Cavill reprising his role.

Furthermore, the film will star Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fistburne as Perry White, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

"[Affleck] has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne," said Snyder, according to CBS News. "I can't wait to work with him."
