Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Martin Split: 'Wasn't Dramatic' at All

Talks pointing out to the break-up of Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have been on the rumor mill for quite a while. Now, it has been reported that the two are "officially over" with each other.

Several media sites covered the news. For one, there's People.com who cited their source that "Jen is the one who broke it off with Chris."

E! Online, meanwhile revealed further the reason behind the break-up between the actress and the rock band front man. As what they reported, their informant told them simply that, "Things just didn't work out."

"There are no hard feelings between them," their source added.

The Oscar-winning star and the Grammy-wining Coldplay vocalist were first linked in August, shortly after the 24-year-old X-men actress split from co-actor and boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult.

"It wasn't dramatic," the source for the media outlet went on to say about the four-months' worth romance of the two.

"Presumably the pair's jam-packed schedules also contributed to their break up. Coldplay has a number of performances coming up, including an appearance at the BBC Music Awards, while Lawrence is about to embark upon a mega press tour for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1," the website speculated.

The pair was last seen together in Oct. 21, following Martin's dinner date with his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, in Brentwood.

Martin has been married to the latter for more than ten years and announced that they're calling it quits in March.

Meanwhile, the "Silver Linings Playbook" star was found going out and about in great spirits while having a dinner with her father – Mr. Gary Lawrence.

E! Online further added that earlier that day, she was spotted coming out from Martin's abode, carrying her belongings.
