Jennifer Lawrence News: 'X-Men:Apocalypse' Actress Willing to Reprise Mystique Role with Reservations

Although she previously announced that her stint as Mystique in the current international blockbuster "X-Men: Apocalypse" would be her last, Jennifer Lawrence is singing a different tune these days as she says that she is willing to reprise the role on one condition: all her other co-stars in the cast will also return.

In an article published on Entertainment Weekly, Lawrence said that she and her fellow "X-Men" cast Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy had a talk about their plans should they be offered to reprise their current "X-Men" characters. According to the actress, Fox should be on pins and needles as they had agreed that they would only come back to the movie if all of them will be asked to do so.

It is interesting to note that Lawrence's contract with Fox for three "X-Men" movie already expired, with "X-Men: Apocalypse" being the last movie stipulated in the contract. Coming Soon reports that based on the trend of "X-Men" movies, the era that will be featured in the next "X-Men" will be the '90s. However, as of this writing, it still remains uncertain whether the planned movie will still utilize its current cast.

If Lawrence had things her way, she said she'd love to reprise the role as she loves the fans of the franchise and her Mystique character as well. However, she added, "But then you realize how important your year is, like how important three months out of your year is. I don't know. I shouldn't be that honest."

Meanwhile, it is rumored that "X-Men: Apocalypse" may have already revealed who Hugh Jackman's Wolverine character will battle with in the upcoming "Wolverine 3, as per Slash Film. While it is true that the movie is yet to arrive in American theaters next week, reports from overseas, where the movie is currently being shown, claim that the closing credits of the movie may have given a clue on who the villain will be in "Wolverine 3."

According to reports, the character is seen collecting blood and bullets at the closing credits of the movie and puts the blood of Wolverine in a vial labeled "Weapon X" and places it in a suitcase. When he finally closes the suitcase, its label is revealed: Essex Corp., which is led by no other than Nathaniel Essex, aka Mister Sinister.
