Jeremy Lin News: Hornets Guard Crossover Makes Cole Aldrich Drop

As the season rages on, there are obviously bad times for a lot of players and one of them is Los Angeles Clippers' Cole Aldrich, who sat on his own foot during Sunday's game at the Staples Center in L.A.

Aldrich had to sit on his foot after Jeremy Lin unexpectedly came forward with a crossover. The Clippers obviously weren't ready for Lin's move and it looked as if Aldrich was embarrassed after his fall.

While the Charlotte Hornets suffered another loss on Sunday's game, the team has proven to retain its good spirits, especially Lin, who has, in the previous games, paved the way for the Hornets' victories.

For an undrafted player who has been hopping on several teams for the past years, Lin's year is starting to open up brighter doors for his future in the NBA. Each time the Hornets guard delivers an amazing move or does things that no other player could do, multiple outlets pick up the story and make him a hero in the industry.

It should be noted, though, that his Linsanity days were way, way better than his performances in the previous games. Still, his improvement with a team that allows him to utilize his skills is something to be celebrated.

Also, it was just a few weeks ago when he shared with Facebook fans how he struggled as a high school student in Palo Alto, California. He knew of the high rates of suicide in his area but he managed to stay positive and go through the stress and depression.

"As each year of high school passed by, I realized that even though there was pressure to be great, I had to make a personal choice not to define myself by my success and accomplishments," he wrote.

Lin is rumored to bag the Sixth Man of the Year award this season, but that is, if his team gains enough wins and if he continues to show the flare and drive needed to take home the gold.
