In a brutally frank interview, with embattled former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky on NBC’s Rock Center, veteran sports caster Bob Costas asked Sandusky about his alleged inappropriate relationships with young boys.

Jerry Sandusky Penn State Sex Abuse Case: Alleged Child Molester Jerry Sandusky, ‘I Shouldn’t Have Showered With Those Kids.’

The former assistant coach was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011 and charged with sexually abusing as many as eight boys over a 15-year period. He was released after posting bond of $100,000.

When asked by Costas if he denies any inappropriate sexual contact with any of the alleged victims, Sandusky said, “I am.”

Costas responded by saying, “It seems that if all of these accusations are false, you are the unluckiest and most persecuted man that any of us have ever heard about.”

“I don’t know what you want me to say. I don’t think that these have been the best days of my life,” replied Sandusky.

Sandusky was asked if he is a pedophile, to which he responded, “No.”

Sandusky described his behavior with young boys as “horsing around.”

"I could say that I have done some of those things. I have horsed around with kids. I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact," said Sandusky.

Costas then asked Sandusky if he would concede any wrongdoing, Sandusky replied, "I shouldn't have showered with those kids."
