Jessa Duggar posts Bible verses amid brother Josh Duggar's cheating and pornography scandal; Family pastor's Sunday preaching focuses on infidelity

After being somehow silent of her brother's confessions for the past months, Jessa Duggar Seewald seemed to give a nod to Josh Duggar's most recent confession through Bible verses that tackle sin and forgiveness.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, the 22-year-old shared a page of the Bible where she underlined the passages from I John 1:6-10.

Being her first post that fans deem is linked to her brother's confession on Thursday about cheating on his wife and watching porn, it is unclear if the verses mean that she has forgiven him or if she is condemning him for his unfaithfulness to his wife, Anna.

The pregnant Duggar has been molested by her brother as a child, and though she appears to be happy with husband Ben Seewald and has put her past behind, some speculate that her post may be a sign of admonishing her brother who now calls himself "the biggest hypocrite ever."

In a statement on the family's website, the older Duggar who has been under public scrutiny for some months said, "I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain, and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him," following the revelation that he was among the 37 million cheating spouses who had Ashley Madison accounts.

While his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, have expressed their grief over the news of their son's infidelity, many of the family's watchers and fans have declared their dismay over Josh's continuous thread of confessions.

Meanwile, Ronnie Floyd, senior pastor of Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas, the Duggar family's pastor in the past, directed his Sunday sermon toward infidelity.

According to People, Pastor Floyd's sermon was the first in a series he called "Sex Today," which focuses on themes of love and physical relationships. Coincidentally, Jill Duggar Dillard announced on Twitter that the preaching was streamed live from the church.

Floyd has been known for showing support to the Duggar family, even after Josh's alleged "wrongdoings."
