Jessica Biel has landed the role of actress Vera Miles in the upcoming biopic "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho."

The 30-year-old actress also recently nabbed herself a marriage proposal by singer Justin Timberlake. The couple has been together for over four years.

Biel will portray Miles, who played Lila Crane in Hitchcock's 1960s horror film "Psycho."

As the heroine in the film, Miles visits the Bates Motel in search of her missing sister, Marion, who was portrayed by actress Janet Leigh in the original film.

The "Hitchcock" cast will also include actress Scarlett Johansson, who will portray "Psycho" actress Leigh.

The film chronicles the legendary director Hitchcock and his horror classic in which Leigh is viciously murdered in the famous shower scene. "Psycho" was based on the nonfiction book of the same name by Stephen Rebello.

Biel and Johansson will be joined by cast members Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren, who will play Hitchcock and his wife. The upcoming film will follow the director's struggles to make "Psycho" in the 1960s, which is considered one of the most influential films of all time.

British actor James D'Arcy was also cast in "Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho" as Anthony Perkins, according to Variety.

It is not the first time D'Arcy will have worked with the story: he played the protagonist Norman Bates in Hitchcock's thriller.

The Sasha Gervasi-directed film is expected to hit theaters sometime next year.

Biel will also appear in "Total Recall" with Colin Ferrall and Kate Beckinsale. The future Mrs. Timberlake recently opened up about filming the fight scenes in the upcoming action movie.

"Kate and I usually fight men in movies, and when you knock into a man, he doesn't care," the actress told W magazine. "But every two seconds, Kate and I were saying, 'I'm sorry - are you OK?' We were both so nervous about fighting another woman."

Biel continued to explain how strange their caution was, "because I have no problem fighting with a guy. In truth, I like doing anything that requires breaking a sweat," said the actress.

"Total Recall" is scheduled to premiere August 3.
