"Mad Men" stars Jessica Pare and Jon Hamm have been spotted in Hawaii filming the sixth season of the AMC hit television series this week.
Pare, 31, was photographed in character as Megan Draper while filming the beach scene. The French-Canadian actress wore a retro-style floral bikini to fit the 1960s setting of the television series. She paired the bikini with a wide-brimmed hat and round-lens white sunglasses.
Meanwhile, the show's main character, Don Draper, portrayed by Hamm, wore vintage short paisley-print swim trunks while filming.
It is believed that the actors were filming the premiere episode for season six, where married the married couple enjoy a vacation in Hawaii, according to the Daily Mail.
The details surrounding the "Mad Men" upcoming season are few and far between, but fans of the show are speculating that the Drapers opted for a Hawaiian vacation in order to work on their marriage.
In a past interview, Hamm, 41, defended the secrecy surrounding the plot of "Mad Men."
"What show wants to ruin their whole narrative structure," the actor asked members of the press recently. "Who wants to be told the end of things? I think it's a good thing that like most shows we don't tell people what's going to happen."
The sixth season of "Mad Men" is expected to begin in 2013.
Critically acclaimed "Mad Men" is well known for its historical authenticity and visual style. The series has earned 15 Emmys and four Golden Globe Awards, among many others, and is the first and only basic cable series to win the Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, winning it in four of its five seasons.
