Jessica Simpson Bump on Display, But Baby Maxwell Steals Show (PHOTO)

Jessica Simpson showed off her burgeoning baby bump Saturday while promoting her Jessica Simpson Girl's Collection, but it was her daughter Maxwell who stole the show.

Simpson, 32, appeared alongside her younger sister Ashlee, 28, at the Belk Southpark mall in Charlotte, North Carolina where the pair signed autographs for fans. The "Fashion Star" mentor's 11-month-old daughter soon diverted the attention by striking adorable poses for photographers including kissing faces.

"Maxwell has her momma's pout down pat," Simpson tweeted alongside a cute photo of baby Maxwell March 18.

Also in attendance was Simpson's fiance and baby's father Eric Johnson, 32; the couple is said to be expecting a baby boy in coming months.

"[Jessica] found out this week after a check-up at the doctor, who asked her if she wanted to know the sex of the baby ... she immediately said yes and when the doctor told her it was a boy she screamed with joy!" an insider told RadarOnline.com.

"It's Jessica's dream come true, she prayed she was having a boy," the source continued. "What with everything going on in her personal life, and her problems with her father, this has given her something to smile about."

The couple, who allegedly put off their wedding until after Simpson gives birth, is said to have picked out an unusual baby name for their future son.

"[She's] told people she's going to name the baby Ace!" the source told Us magazine.

The couple is no stranger to unusual baby names as their daughter, Maxwell Johnson, also has a non-traditional name which holds a lot of "meaning." They reportedly also considered Zinfandel as her first name, but ultimately went with Maxwell.

The couple, who has been together for three years, announced their engagement in November 2010, but they postponed their anticipated November 11, 2011 wedding date due to Simpson's unexpected first pregnancy.

"It won't be this year," Simpson previously told talk show host Katie Couric. "I really want to do a big, fun wedding with my friends and family."
