Jessica Simpson Confirms Baby Boy on TV (VIDEO)

Jessica Simpson accidentally revealed the sex of her second child during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's show last night. Simpson had managed to keep the news a secret while on the Ellen DeGeneres show earlier this week, but one slip of the tongue led to the revelation that she's having a baby boy.

"The crazy thing is, I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous," Simpson jokingly told Kimmel. "Well, I guess I just told the world that I'm having a boy! I can't believe I just did that. That was not planned. I just did it so crude; I feel awful."

She followed up the announcement on Twitter: "Accidental announcement tonight on @jimmykimmel," much to the delight and well wishes of fans.

"I don't know [how it happened]," Simpson told DeGeneres earlier this week. "Apparently protection was just thrown out the window! We were definitely shocked! This time around … I'm like, exhausted, eating Tums. That's my snack of choice!"

Simpson kept the public guessing as to whether she was indeed pregnant for a second time; rumors began circulating not long after the birth of daughter Maxwell. She managed to hold out until Christmas Day to announce the pregnancy via a photo on Instagram.

Eric Johnson, the father of Simpson's children, has intentions to marry her, but the two pregnancies apparently got in the way.

"I keep planning on getting married, but I keep getting knocked up. Maybe I should go back to when I was younger– I was a virgin before I was married, so maybe I should just completely reverse and just stop having sex altogether until Eric and I actually say 'I do,'" Simpson joked on Kimmel.

Marriage could be the next major event in Simpson's life, given that she told Kimmel she doesn't want to be pregnant again because "this pregnancy is really rocking my world right now."

Simpson is due later this year and is currently a judge and mentor on "Fashion Star," which premieres on Friday, March 8 on NBC.
