Speculation regarding whether or not Jessica Simpson is pregnant has been swirling for weeks, but OK! has alleged that she is carrying fiancé Eric Johnson’s child.

The magazine said she has been talking to all of her friends about the pregnancy.

"She joked, 'Well, now I can eat anything I want and no one will care. It's just sort of a rule with pregnant women.' But it was typical Jessica that she was making a joke of it," a source told OK!

Apparently Simpson is looking to make a quick buck off of her announcement as Page Six claimed the singer is shopping her pregnancy announcement for $500,000.

In Touch was the first magazine to claim the star was pregnant in their Sept. 27 article, which said, "She has a bun in the oven."

OK! claimed they know the sex of the baby, saying it's a girl – and that Simpson and Johnson are thinking of names like Morgan and Karen for the baby.

According to the same report Simpson said having a baby is like, "winning the lottery twice."

For now the couple has denied the rumors saying, “We’re enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time ... We might elope if it gets to that point.”

Jessica's father, Joe Simpson also told reporters he would not make a statement unless Jessica has a deal in place.

The couple is getting married in Hawaii on Nov. 11.

The 31-year-old rose to fame in 1999 as a singer releasing her first album Sweet Kisses with smash hit single "I Wanna Love You Forever" debuting at No. three on the Billboard Hot 100, and touring with Ricky Martin and 98 Degrees.

In 2003, Simpson and then husband, Nick Lachey, starred in their own reality documenting their married life in "Newlyweds."

Simpson has not released a new material studio album since 2008's Do You Know.
