Jessica Simpson will reportedly wed Eric Johnson in a private ceremony next month and new wedding details surfaced online yesterday.
The couple, who got engaged in 2010, will reportedly exchange "I dos" at the upscale Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, California on July 4, according to Us magazine.
Friends and family will gather at the Spanish-themed hotel in coming weeks to witness the fashion mogul, 33, marry the former NFL star, 34. Guests will reportedly feast on traditional southern barbecue which is fitting considering Simpson hails from Texas.
The resort, which can accommodate hundreds of people, sits on 78 acres and overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
"It'll definitely be extravagant. I don't do things small," Simpson recently told the "Today" show.
The Weight Watchers ambassador got engaged to the former NFL star in November 2010, five months after they began dating and they share two children, a daughter Maxwell, 2, and son Ace, 10 months. Last month Simpson revealed that she was "close" to sending out wedding invitations.
"We are very close to sending out our invites," Simpson told USA Today at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in May.
"I've been very picky on how I want everything to look and feel. Eric's family alone is almost 90 people, so it'll definitely be a big event," she added.
The couple initially hoped to wed in Capri, Italy, which reportedly holds fond memories for them, however, they decided that it would be "too much" to ask their friends to fly to Europe, Us magazine reported.
The wedding will mark second marriages for the pair. Simpson was once married to singer Nick Lachey, while Johnson is divorced from Keri Johnson.
While the wedding venue has reportedly been booked one insider claims that an indecisive Simpson may change her mind about the location at the very last minute.
"Jess keeps going back and forth on locales," a source told Us.
New details surrounding the former singer's wedding dress have been revealed. A source claims she will not wear white.
"Jessica is having something unique made," the source said. "It will be very different from the Vera Wang she wore to wed Nick Lachey [in 2002]."
