Jill Duggar Pregnancy Update: Couple Writes Bible Verses for Encouragement

Six months before the birth of their first baby, "19 Kids and Counting" star Jill Duggar (now Dillard) and husband Derick are turning to the Bible for encouragement.

Jill took to Instagram to post a picture taken from the porch of their home, which shows the young couple writing out passages from the Bible. The 23-year old captioned the photo, "Writing out bible verses for encouragement during pregnancy, labor, and delivery!"

Jill included the hashtags "#Scriptureboard #babydilly #pregnancyprep #blessedparents" to the caption.

A few of the passages which were laid out on a table could be read, and among them was one from Isaiah 26:3 which reads, "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you."

Jill and Derick were married in June following a short engagement period. Their baby is due in March 2015.

Jill has been keeping active all throughout her pregnancy. On October 4, she and her husband joined the entire Duggar family at the Springdale Demolition Derby, which, according to the Duggar family blog, is a long-time tradition for them. This was followed by a trip to Braum's which is reportedly Duggar matriarch Michelle's favorite ice cream parlor.

Aside from the family outing, the 23-year old also shared that she went camping with her husband last month.

Earlier in September, Jill spoke to ABC News and revealed that she was dealing with morning sickness and has a craving for sour food.

"I crave things that are more sour to settle my stomach," Jill explained. "I've been having a lot of morning sickness. They should call it pregnancy sickness because it's all day, but I'm feeling good today! I'm thanking God for this little life and the good signs. It's well worth it."
