Jimmy Kimmel's Mean Tweets NBA Edition Features Jeremy Lin, Chris Paul and More

Jimmy Kimmel featured another installment of "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets" on his late night show this week, only this time, the special segment featured NBA players.

Some Twitter users frequently use the social media site to lash out at celebrities, and athletes are no exception to the criticism and bullying found online. Just as the NBA Playoffs 2014 wrapped up on Sunday night, Kimmel invited several basketball stars to read aloud tweets about themselves. First up during the clip was New York Knicks player Amar'e Stoudemire who read, "@aexl_G13's tweet, "Can't like, Amare Stoudemire looks homeless."

Kris Humphries, who was infamously married to Kim Kardashian for 72 days in 2011, also read a mean message about himself during the hilarious two-minute video.

"@KrisHumphries F---OU! You're so pathetic! Seriously kill yourself please. XX," the Boston Celtics player read, quoting @DavidMateDi.

For his part, Houston Rockets player Jeremy Lin read, "Jeremy Lin need to git the weight room," to which he replied, "You need to 'git' the spell check."

Sacramento Kings player DeMarcus Cousins read a message accusing him of being an "emotional lesbian" during the clip before breaking into laughter. Dwight Howard of the Houston Rockets also faced criticism and read a tweet that said, "Dwight Howard wears panties with leg warmers."

Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan also read mean tweets aloud along with retired players Jalen Rose and Dikembe Mutombo. The video also included tweets read by Indiana Pacer's Paul George, Philadelphia 76'ers' Michael-Carter Williams, Denver Nuggets' Nate Robinson, and Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry. Sports analyst Bill Simmons also read a disparaging tweet about himself.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Kimmel's "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets: NBA Edition" arrives just one month after Sofia Vergara, Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey and other Hollywood stars contributed to "Part 7."
