Joanna Krupa has ended her relationship with Miami club owner Romain Zago after more than a 5-year engagement.

Krupa began her career as a model, although she is the most well known for her appearances in reality television. She has appeared on "Dancing With the Stars" in addition to Polish's "Next Top Model" and most famously, "The Real Housewives of Miami."

She announced Tuesday that she was breaking off her engagement with Zago after five and half years.

"We got in a huge fight, and I just pretty much got fed up with it," he "Real Housewives of Miami" star told In Touch magazine.

"He loves me to death, he wants to be with me, but there's something that's holding him from committing 100 percent," she added.

But in the past, it was Krupa show showed disappointment over her engagement to Zago. In a September blog she explained that she had never wanted to be a "typical housewife" but was anxious about running out of time. However, Zago still turned out not to be her "fairytale" after he continued to postpone their engagement.

"I was happy being engaged, but now I feel that after so many years I need to put my foot down and finally start planning the wedding or break up and move on," she wrote. "It's not that my career is any less important to me now and that's why I am more ready, but more that I feel after five years you just have to make that commitment. Otherwise another five years will go by and I may have regrets."

But according to Zago, it was Krupa's own fault that he could not commit due to her busy career schedule. He did, however, express hope that they may reunite.

"I don't know if it's over forever but I'm pretty pissed," he told In Touch speaking about the split. "She is traveling all over the place anyway. There is no way anyone can be with her like this. That's her choice."
