Job Fair Focusing on Humanitarian Service

INDIANAPOLIS – A special career fair only focusing on humanitarian service will be held at the University of Indianapolis, March 25. It is common for students to attend career fairs but it is rare for schools to host career or job fairs of community and humanitarian service.

University of Indianapolis will host the job fair with the title Adventures in Service to Humanity, free for the public. More than 30 organizations, including Christian organizations, dedicated to community and humanitarian service at the international, national, state or local level will participate in the fair from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the atrium of Schwitzer Student Center.

Then from 2p.m. to 2:45 p.m. a panel discussion about “Post-College Volunteer and Professional Opportunities” will be held in Schwitzer Rm 010 and from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., students who have done service work will talk about their experiences in a panel discussion.
