Jodi Arias News: Convicted Killer Talks to Rapper About Life Behind Bars

Convicted killer Jodi Arias spoke to rapper Kareem "Lefty" Williams via phone and revealed what her current life is behind bars.

During a 15-minute phone call with Kareem "Lefty" Williams on Jan. 10, Jodi Arias gave the Philadelphia rapper a glimpse of what her life is inside the Perryville Women's Prison. Williams is the one who produced a song defending Arias and spreading awareness of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and domestic violence, according to KTAR.

For a while, the two talked about Williams' song and the rapper told Arias that there were many people who told him to remove her name and likeness from the music video. The convicted murderer told him to focus on PTSD and domestic violence instead of her. The said video has been taken down from YouTube, the report details.

Williams said the music video garnered a lot of criticism online and joked that the two of them are probably the country's most hated people. Arias responded by saying she still has a lot of love coming her way and continued to cheer the rapper's effort to form a nonprofit group for victims of domestic violence, the Inquisitr reports.

"Haters are going to hate," Arias said with a chuckle.

Meanwhile, Arias said she is doing well inside the Arizona prison. She also boasted about her access to several entertainment facilities including a radio that manages to get all Phoenix stations' FM signals. She also mentioned that she has a decent choice of television channels including Univision, ABC, Fox, CNN, three faith-based channels, and other networks.

As for the food, Arias compared it to hospital food, which she described as "average." For breakfast, they get biscuits and gravy, then cold sandwiches for dinner. She noted that their weekend meals are better, and talked about how good the chicken fajitas were during the weekend before their phone conversation.

Jodie Arias was convicted in 2013 for the brutal murder of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in 2008. She is on a life sentence with no possibility of parole at the Perryville Women's Prison in Arizona.
