'John Wick' 3 Cast News: Keanu Reeves Eyes Tilda Swinton Reunion
Will Tilda Swinton join Keanu Reeves for "John Wick 3"? The actor is hoping that her former co-star on "Constantine" will say yes to their reunion.
Speaking with People, Reeves expressed hope that Swinton will agree to work with him again. Aside from playing the villain to his Constantine character in the 2005 big screen adaptation of the comics, Swinton also co-starred with Reeves in "Thumbsucker," which was released on the same year.
"We run into each other once in a while socially out there in the world," Reeves said. "She's a remarkable person and actress, so I'm all aboard with that!"

Derek Kolstad will still write the screenplay to "John Wick 3" as he did in the first two movies. It remains to be seen if he will have a role for the "Doctor Strange" star since production won't happen until 2018. Director Chad Stahelski will also return to helm this upcoming flick.
"John Wick" became an unexpected franchise following the release of the first movie in 2014. It centered on a former hitman who tracked down a group of gangsters for killing his loved-ones.
The follow-up movie, "John Wick: Chapter 2," ran in theaters in early 2017. It introduced an underworld group known as The Continental, which had a bounty on Wick's life.
The success of both films also gave birth to the development of television show that will explore the lives and members of The Continental. Reeves might appear in the series for a cameo. Details of this project, however, are still scarce but Kolstad and Stahelski are behind its development.
"John Wick" also received a comic book treatment that follows the character's origin from writer Greg Pak and illustrator Giovanni Valletta. It takes place during Wick's time as an active assassin.
Rumor has it that the third "John Wick" movie will be about his origin. Moviegoers will get to watch how he learned his skill and how he started his career as a hitman. Lionsgate scheduled "John Wick 3" for a May 17, 2019, outing in theaters.
