Johnny Depp and Wife Amber Heard Latest Divorce Updates

Johnny Depp's wife, Amber Heard, may have been lying about Depp beating her. Depp was recently asked to keep away from Heard after she said he hit her.

However, right after the death of Depp's mother, Heard filed for divorce last week and revealed a photo of abruised face on Instagram. The two had been married for 15 months, after meeting during the production of "The Rum Diaries."

According to Daily Mail, the Los Angeles Police headed to their home two days before Heard filed for divorce. On paper, it was stated that Heard stated that Depp pulled her hair and grabbed her face in a violent manner. Heard also explained that Depp was involved with drugs and suffering from alcohol abuse.

However, some do not believe that Depp is capable of beating his wife. Even his ex-wife, Lori Anne Allison spoke out about the matter. After being married to Depp from 1983 to 1985, she claimed that Heard's accusations were not true. In addition, reports showed that Heard was actually out partying the night of the police call.

There are also speculations that the two were facing some problems in their relationship due to the closeness of Heard and Cara Delevigne. Some believe that Heard was cheating on Depp with Delevigne. According to News Au, a source revealed, "It didn't help that Johnny couldn't stand Cara. He found her obnoxious and disrespectful and would ask his staff to warn him when she was going to be around. He didn't like quite a few of Amber's friends, but he took a particular dislike to Cara. It was the friendship with her that really started to drive him insane."

In addition, the source explained that Heard was merely trying to hide the other side of the story. The source said, "Amber painted herself as the beaten-down wife who did nothing wrong, but there is definitely another side to the story of their marriage. They have had a series of blazing rows, but Amber has a furious temper herself and she knew how to wind Johnny up and push him to the end of his tether. He said that he never hit her, that she had a vicious temper and that he has only acted in self-defence."
