Johnny Depp at Aerosmith Concert Creates Frenzy

Newly-single Johnny Depp has stepped out solo to attend an Aerosmith concert in Los Angeles Monday night.

The hunky actor, 49, had been in a relationship with Vanessa Paradis for the past 14 years, and Depp's availability last night was obvious.

As one of his first appearances since announcing the split from the French actress, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star was photographed flocked by young women during the concert at the Pink Taco venue on Sunset Boulevard. He appeared ill at ease, although he was smiling amongst the females.

Dressed in his usual dark clothing, Depp appeared slightly older in his trademark fedora hat and motorcycle boots.

Following the concert, Depp paused for pictures and signed autographs for fans, according to the Daily Mail.

Depp had been out of the public eye and hard at work on the set of the movie "The Lone Ranger" until now.

Also attending the concert Monday was Liv Tyler, the daughter of Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler. Actors Jim Carrey and Seth Green also watched the show, and Aerosmith band member Joe Perry was photographed afterward with his wife Billie Paulette Montgomery.

Depp and Paradis, 39, share two children together. Confirmation of the couple's split arrived in June with a statement from Depp's publicist.

"Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated," said the statement. "Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children."

In the past, Depp has been romantically linked to actress Winona Ryder to whom he was engaged, super model Kate Moss, and more recently, his "Rum Diary" co-star Amber Heard.

Alternately, Paradis has also moved on from her lengthy relationship with Depp. She hit the red carpet in Paris last month looking stunning and smiling while promoting her film "Je Me Suis Tous Fait," which in English translates into "I Made Myself Very Small."
