Judson Press Appoints New Acting Publisher

VALLEY FORGE, Pa – Rev. Daniel J. Rawleigh, acting executive director of Educational Ministries announced the appointment of Linda M. Peavy, director of marketing for Judson Press of American Baptist Education Ministries, as acting publisher of Judson Press, effective through June 30, 2003.

Peavy led has led marketing strategies for Judson Press books, periodicals, curriculum and church products since 1998. Prior to her involvement in Judson Press, she was marketing director for Pilgrim Press/United Church Press in Cleveland, Ohio.

"Linda has been effective in many areas, particularly in reaching out to African American sisters and brothers both within and outside American Baptist Churches USA," Rawleigh said. "Her leadership is welcome in a difficult time of discernment and possible transition."
