'Jurassic World 2' cast and plot news: Inspired from 'Jurassic Park'

It was revealed that the upcoming sequel for "Jurassic World" is expected to be different from the first film.

According to Jurassic Cast Podcast, the director of the film Colin Trevorrow recently spoke about what to expect for the upcoming sequel. He stated that "Jurassic World 2" will be inspired from the original "Jurassic Park."

He explained that the first movie was also based on the original film. He said, "Jurassic World is all based on Ian Malcolm's quote. You stood on the shoulders of geniuses to accomplish something as fast as you could, and before you knew what you had, you patented it, you packaged it, slapped it on a plastic lunchbox, and now you want to sell it.' That to me is Jurassic World. That's why I had all the product placement, that's what it was."

Treverrow added that the upcoming film is expected to present a different vibe, compared to the first one. He explained that they are exploring several ideas, taking the concept to a larger perspective to show human relationships with animals.

He added, "It will get to be a different kind of film. The audience has given us permission to a certain extent to take this to the next level, and I don't necessarily mean in scale."

It was confirmed that he and Derek Connolly are currently working on the script are will co-produce the sequel. Bryce Dallas Howard, Claire Dearing, Chris Pratt, and Owen Grady will be reprising their roles for the upcoming sequel.
