'Just Cause 3' Gameplay Revealed
The third installment in the "Just Cause" game series called "Just Cause 3" was recently revealed with the release of a gameplay trailer. The trailer was supposed to have been captured directly from a console.
The action-adventure open world video game is being developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Square Enix. It is set for release this holiday season, for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
According to a report in GameSpot, the trailer revealed some of the highlights of the game's gameplay, such as helicopter dog fights and high-speed car chases. It also showcased some of the scenes of "unrelenting destruction" such as "planes ripping through pylon structure and entire facilities going up in plumes of fire."

Like the earlier games in the series, "Just Cause 3" is set in an exotic and tropical world in the Mediterranean archipelago. The fictional island group of Medici is the open world that players get to play in. Players need to find enemy bases and destroy them, as well as any propaganda billboards and loudspeakers of the enemy. Players can have access to a bonus pack which includes a set of weaponized vehicles if they pre-order "Just Cause 3."
In another report, GameSpot also shared additional information about the game's storyline and world size. Rico, the main character in previous "Just Cause" games, returns but is a bit older. The game's story takes place several years after the events in the 2010 "Just Cause 2" game. He will be equipped with new items and abilities which includes a new grapple hook and a new wing suit.
In terms of its world size, the report says that the game will feature a 400 square mile map with three main areas for exploration. The game also has racing segments, like the previous games, which has significantly improved with inputs from developers of "Burnout," a racing game.
