'Just Cause 3' Release Date: A Lot to Look Forward to Even Without Multi-Player

"Just Cause 3" still has a lot in store for its fans even without a multi-player mode, director Roland Lesterlin said in response to questions about the game.

Many fans are wondering why "Just Cause 3" developers did not include a multi-player mode, so Lesterlin assured them that players will still have a lot to look forward to in the game. He said they wanted to focus first on the single-player mode of the game, according to Realty Today (RT).

"Having all these things in there feels perfect for a 'Just Cause' game, it doesn't mean we wouldn't think about what to do with [a] multi-player in the future," RT quotes Lesterlin's reply to the questions. "But for this first time around we wanted to pour all our love and energy into a great single-player sandbox to start with."

Last year, Avalance Studios co-founder Christofer Sundberg had teased a multi-player mode for "Just Cause 3." Naturally, fans expected the said mode to be included in the third installment of the game.

Meanwhile, Lesterlin told Stevivor at PAX Australia that they were talking about telling fans more about Rico. Some of the things that would possibly be covered are the real identity of Rico and how he transformed into the action hero that he is, Lazy Gamer reports.

"Just Cause 3," which was created by Avalance, will be published by Square Enix. The game will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Dec. 1.

Fans who will pre-order "Just Cause 3" will be entitled to a 10 percent discount. The regular version will cost $53.99 and "Just Cause 3" XL will cost $78.48. The latter includes the game's installer and DLC: Air, Land & Sea Expansion Pass. Those who have already pre-purchased the game can also upgrade to XL by shelling out $22.49. The special offer is valid until Nov. 30 only.
