'Justice League: Part One' News: Shifts in Executives

After the release of the DC film "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice," the DC Extended Universe is expected to bring new changes to the franchise.

It was confirmed that Charles Roven will no longer be a producer in the upcoming film. Roven had producer several DC movies such as the "Dark Knight" trilogy, "Man of Steel," "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," "Suicide Squad," and "Wonder Woman."

However, he will not be taking part in the rest of the upcoming DC films such as "Aquaman" and "The Flash." Though he is currently working on "Justice League: Part One," it seems as though Warner Bros. is planning to make the transition between Roven and Jon Berg.

As per IGN, it was stated that Jon Berg will be working with comic specialist Geoff Johns in producing the upcoming film. With that, Berg has been sent to monitor the daily operations of the upcoming DC movie. Even though Roven is still present, the new appointment of Berg is expected to lead to the possibility of Berg taking over the project.

Some report suggests that there is a chance for Roven to continue his involvement in the film, but more of an executive producer as opposed to being involved in the production. There are speculations that the changes are due to the lack of success of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Fans were anticipating the installment, as they were expecting an epic beginning to the Justice League. However, the film received mixed reviews, making fewer earnings domestically. With that, it was suggested that DC hopes to change the production by bringing new faces into the picture. However, there has yet to be any details concerning the matter.

"Justice League: Part One" is expected to hit theaters on Nov. 16, 2017.
