Justin Bieber Explains Selena Gomez's Love for Him

Justin Bieber, 18-year-old award-winning Canadian singer, recently used some biblical themes to describe why his girlfriend, 19-year-old singer and actress Selena Gomez, is in love with him.

Bieber, recently spoke with Radio Disney's Celebrity Take with Jake about Gomez's love for him, indicating that it reflects 1 Corinthians Chapter 13 verse 4 in the Bible that states "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud."

"I'm loving and patient and kind and gentle," Bieber said.

Aside from those traits, Bieber also spoke about the importance of being honest with his girlfriend.

"You just have to be honest, that's the first thing, because if you're not honest, then the relationship is just not a good relationship," Bieber said. "At the end of the day, your girl would appreciate you being honest more than lying to her and vice versa."

Bieber has had no issues with his girlfriend publicly thus far, treating her to a date at the Staples Center to watch Titanic last year. He spoke to New York's Power 105.1 radio station about renting out the Los Angeles arena for his girlfriend.

"She wanted to see Titanic again, we were fighting a little bit so we ended up being cool," Bieber said. "I was just like I wanted to take her somewhere special so I decided to take her to the Staples center and we had dinner in the middle of the Staples center. You have to treat a woman right."

Bieber has had no problem with publicly showing support for his girlfriend either, and expressed the importance of making his girlfriend feel special.

"Romance isn't dead," the crooner tweeted after his date in the Staples Center. "Treat your lady right fellas. #REAL."
