Justin Bieber Fight at Nightclub? Police Probe Begins

Justin Bieber is under investigation by police over whether he directed his bodyguards to beat up a man while he was at a nightclub in Southampton, New York.

Reports reveal Wayne Rennalls, 22, was injured in an altercation with Bieber's bodyguards which started over a waitress and a bow tie.

Southampton Police Sgt. Todd Spencer told Page Six reviewing whether or not Bieber directed his bodyguards to intervene "would be part of the investigation, whether Bieber directed them or not."

The New York Daily News reported Bieber and his crew arrived at the club at 2 a.m. and that his security was "intimidating" and "overbearing" to fans.

The problem started when a blond woman began talking to the singer when her male friend stepped in antagonistically.

"[Bieber] ripped his shirt off and went nuts. He was screaming." Then a fight ensued outside the Daily News reports. "One witness reported seeing blood."

"Authorities were not called to the scene but a police spokesperson tells us the unidentified male victim went to the Peconic Bay Medical Center at noon on Sunday and later filed a complaint alleging assault," E! Online said in their report.

The victim was allegedly knocked out on the cement as the man was just as aggressive, reported TMZ.

A friend of Rennalls, Frank Johnson, saw the fight.

"When you have huge security guards backing you up, you get extra bold. This isn't a macho thing. Justin was talking [bleep] from the safety of his car ... And then it was pandemonium." Reps for Bieber have insisted he was not involved in the incident.

"Justin was not involved in any altercation," a representative told Yahoo.

"At 2:40 a.m. Sunday, Justin Bieber arrived with friends and security at Southampton club South Pointe. They enjoyed the venue and left at 3:20 a.m.," a spokesperson for Southampton club South Pointe told Yahoo.
