Justin Bieber has bought a brand-new Range Rover as he gets ready to take a DNA test to prove he is not Mariah Yeater's baby's daddy. But with the new Range Rover, is Bieber getting a vehicle that can haul around a baby just in case? As the Bieber baby rumors persist, the "Baby, Baby" singer continues to churn the rumor mill.
Despite the suburban family vehicle purchase, driving around Yeater's baby is probably not on Bieber's agenda. The Sun claims that Bieber's new $180,000 ride has an $80,000 sound-system, which is not exactly helpful when trying to get a baby to sleep during a gentle car ride.
In addition to a sound system that costs more than many of his fan's homes, the teen pop star has a Cosworth engine, customized paint job, and leather interior. The Sun also reported that Bieber,17, bought the vehicle to impress his girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
The purchase comes shortly after Kendall Jenner, sister of celebrity divorce star Kim Kardashian was given a Range Rover for her 16th birthday.
"Kendall was thrilled and jumped right in the car with friends," an insider told Us Weekly. "She spent about fifteen minutes in there checking everything out, oohing and aahing over the car. She was in the driver's seat and her friends were crowding around her inside the car."
According to the Daily Mail, Jenner's Range Rover only cost $90,000, about half of what Bieber's Range Rover reportedly cost.
The Range Rover is listed as one of U.S. News & World Report's best luxury SUVs. With so many young teenage celebrities buying the vehicle, it might be worth knowing the safety standards of the Range Rover. However, the vehicle has not yet been tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
