Justin Bieber has been pulled over by cops on Tuesday evening, according to new reports.
The 18 year old pop star was pulled over by police as he was driving his Ferrari in West Hollywood at around 6.30 p.m., according to celebrity rumor site TMZ.
Bieber was allegedly pulled over and issued a ticket by the police officer.
It is not confirmed why the ticket was issued, however, but Bieber seemingly confirmed the encounter with the police by posting a photo onto his Instagram account, without any text. It simply showed flashing red and blue lights.
The news comes just days after news broke that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have split up, shocking fans and confirming weeks of rumors.
The break up has been blamed on their "crazy" work schedules, and is apparently nothing to do with photos emerging of Bieber with supermodels at the Victoria's Secret fashion event in New York last week.
According to E! Online Bieber and Gomez actually split up a week before, with a source close to them telling the publication, "Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship."
There have been rumors circulating for the past weeks, and those rumors hit a climax when Bieber was seen in public with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin, who is 19 years old.
Bieber and Palvin were seen attending "The Lion King" on New York's Broadway together, sparking swirling rumors that he was no longer with Gomez.
He had been seen out with Palvin a number of times throughout the week and that apparently confirmed the split rumors to many of his fans.
However, there have been no indications that Bieber and Palvin are anything more than friends, and there are no suggestions she was anything to do with the break up between Bieber and Gomez.
However, a number have pointed out over the past week that Palvin has previously said, "I don't like Selena Gomez by the way," when she was asked to sing during a liveUstream chat in 2011.
However, Gomez may not be happy with the way Bieber is allowing himself to be seen going out with other female friends so soon after their alleged split, and earlier this week Gomez retweeted a photo of Bieber with Palvin with the accompanying post just reading, "....."
Bieber and Gomez had been publicly dating for nearly two years, since February 2011.
Recently Bieber has been promoting his new album, "Believe," while Gomez has been working on a "Wizards of Waverly Place" reunion special.
