Justin Bieber Says He Still Loves Selena Gomez

Justin Bieber is revealing that he still loves his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Bieber, the 19-year-old Canadian crooner, was famously dating Gomez, the 21-year-old singer and actress, before their split last year. However, the former has been releasing music about his heartbreak lately and even spoke to Power 106 FM about still loving her.

"(The break up) affected us, especially when we are in front of so many people. It's such a public thing," Bieber told Power 106 radio host Big Boy recently. "It's just hard for the both of us. But you know, she's a great woman. I love her 'til this day."

Gomez has readily admitted that it is far from easy dating while in the limelight.

"It's hard to just date in this industry," Gomez said during an E! special hosted by Ryan Seacrest earlier this year. "You can't really help who you date."

After breaking their romantic union at the beginning of the year, Gomez spoke about how that affected her.

"I'm sure you could actually see those pictures of me being, like, way stressed out about it," she said in the E! special. "And it's hard, because what do you do? Do you just wanna sit in your house and hide and not go anywhere?"

It seems the pair have currently cut off their communication from one another.

"I think we're going to be the greatest of friends," he said in the radio interview. "Right now we're taking a little time and not talking."

Bieber admitted that his song, "All That Matters" was written about the pair's relationship.

"I wrote the best music once my heart was broken," Bieber told DJ Big Boy. "'All That Matters' was written when I was in a great place in my relationship, and at that time, she was all that mattered in my life."
