Justin Bieber Sitcom in the Works?

Justin Bieber may be known for being a chart-topping singer, but the 18-year-old Canadian crooner's life may be making its way to the small screen in a new televised sitcom.

TV Guide recently reported that a family show centering around Bieber's life before he got famous including his awkward moments and unconventional family is being considered by ABC. While ABC News has reported that ABC network has been considering Bieber's sitcom for some time, the show reportedly never made it out of development.

However, TV Guide reported that Bieber's show is under review once again and may be considered to premiere during the 2013-2014 season. Bieber and his manager, Scooter Braun, will reportedly executive produce the sitcom if given the green light, while Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi of "Entourage" will also earn executive producer and writing credits for developing the script.

Various people took to Twitter to react to the possibilities of seeing Bieber's journey unfold in the form of a sitcom next year. Some people did not seem too thrilled to see Bieber's life before the fame play out for family audiences.

"Justin Bieber sitcom to focus on superstar's pre-fame years..... humanity really is coming to an end," one person tweeted.

However, some fans of Bieber seemed thrilled for the opportunity to see his life in a different light.

"OMG is this real," another fan exclaimed. "This would just be incredible."

While details about Bieber's potential sitcom are still emerging, the Canadian crooner recently announced that he will release an EP titled "Believe Acoustic" on Jan 29. The unplugged album will reportedly feature seven songs including a bonus record, according to MTV reports.
