The Chiefs have had a tough start to the new season, and they will be eager to claim a win today so that they can head into their bye week with a positive vibe within the squad.

Despite a slightly disappointing start for the Chiefs, if they win today and the Broncos beat the Chargers on Monday Night Football then they can move to just one game away from first place with plenty of time in the season to claim the number one spot.

The Chiefs will start with Brady Quinn as quarterback due to Matt Cassel being out injured. Cassel has suffered a number of turnovers which has undermined some of Kansas City's good play. If Quinn can eradicate those turnovers then the Chiefs will have a much better chance at claiming the vital win today.

The Chiefs will have seen how the Buccaneers have had a troubled offense recently, and they will want to ensure that they shut down Tampa Bay's offensive line in today's game. The Buccaneers are ranked just 30th in offense by yards per game, and are also just 20th in average points per game.

Meanwhile the Buccaneers have had a good run defense, allowing just 3.2 yards per carry. The Chiefs may find it tough to break that defense down. On the pass the Buccaneers have only given up 20 yards or more on 23 plays through the first five weeks. That is impressive, and only second to the New England Patriots.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through NFL Sunday Ticket by clicking here.
