Kim Kardashian's rapper boyfriend Kanye West may have been featured on a number of her "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" reality television show episodes, but the 35-year-old entertainer is reportedly fed up with serving as a supporting cast member on the series.

An OK! Magazine insider reportedly told the publication that West has given Kardashian an ultimatum saying, "If she doesn't make some changes, he will dump her."

While the source reportedly told the publication that Kardashian matriarch and manager Kris Jenner has been trying to increase West's appearances on the show, the rapper has allegedly refused to do so.

"He's laid down the law when it comes to her show," the source tells OK!. "Kim's mom, Kris [Jenner], is constantly trying to get Kanye to do appearances, and he thinks the show is beneath him."

The rapper has reportedly become frustrated with the situation because he helped turn his girlfriend's image around after she was publicly chastised for engaging in a pricey wedding on television that ended in divorce 72 days later.

"He's frustrated because he feels like he totally revived Kim's reputation when it was rock bottom," OK! Magazine reported.

While there has been no official confirmation from the Kardashian or West camp about the rapper's future appearances on the television show, she has gone on record to say that her boyfriend understands the business aspect of her life.

"He's been there through so many different stages of my life and before I was famous, so this relationship is a different thing entirely," Kardashian said of West in Tatler magazine. "It's good to be aware that he definitely doesn't want anything from me too, because he understands the business."

According to the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, West has become her best friend.

"It's so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you're going through," Kardashian told the publication. "Being with someone I've known for so many years is comforting. I can't even think about being with anyone else than the man I'm with."
